Starting 2023 with a bang, an absolute highlight. 😊 Extremely happy to announce that I will race at this years 24h Dubai 🏁🇦🇪 I will drive a 585 PS strong Audi R8 LMS GT3 🚗 and fight for the overall victory together with the @haas.rt team and along Frédéric Vervisch, Maxime Soulet, Mathieu Detry and Olivier Bertels.
A dream comes through. 😊 Since the middle of October I have prepared really hard, several sessions in the simulator and several hours in the gym per day. 💪🏼 Now I feel in the shape of my life and can‘t wait for the race to start. 😄✌🏼
You can watch it live on You Tube starting with the Free Practise Session on Friday to the 24h race from Saturday noon CET to Sunday noon CET. 📺

Night Practice & Night Qualifying Sessions
Interview
What a heartbreaker today💔 After an fantastic day Qualifying we were overall P2🏁 We looked forward for a big showdown in Night Quali for Pole Position. But unfortunately due to technical issues we couldn’t compete in it. This means instead of the fantastic starting position and view from the front (Pic 1) we will have a lot of traffic in front of us (Pic 2). But we will have 24 hours to turn the tables. Huge shout out to @haas.rt and @audisport for all the hard work and support! They will fix the car overnight and then we will leave our heart outside tomorrow and go for it all!!! Everyone else should better check their mirrors!😉 Haas RT and Audi Sport für die harte Arbeit und Unterstützung! Sie werden das Auto über Nacht reparieren und dann werden wir unser Herz morgen draußen lassen und alles geben!!! Alle anderen sollten besser ihre Spiegel überprüfen!😉
14. January! Race! 🏁
3 hours past and we're driving in position 1 🙏
Wish us some Good Luck 🍀

There we have it - 5th place 🏁
Many thanks to the Haas RT team, to all our supporters, mechanics, engineers and drivers! ❤️
Congratulations to the winners🏆: Team WRT (1st and 3rd places) and Herberth Motorsport (2nd place), as well as the class winners: FACH AUTO TEC (class 992), Dragon Racing (GT4), razoon-more than racing (GTX) and AC Motorsport (TCR).
Thank you very much, Haas RT Team! ❤️
Thanks for everythings guys! Amazing job!
Unfortunately we didn`t have the necessary race luck you need to go to the podium. The pace was definitely there!
Just wanted to drop a few personal words after everything that happened in the last week. First of all after not driving or even sitting in a race car for almost 2,5 years, it was so huge for me to be finally back and then even in a GT3 car! There were a lot of guys who didn’t believe in seeing me again on a race track. But life is not about giving up it is about staying strong, keeping the faith alive and waiting for the small glimpse of a chance and then be ready and go for it.
From the get go I felt good and with every session and every meter driven in the car I felt more confident and could improve my lap time step by step. At the final practice before Qualifying I was very quick and I am very proud of my performance. Nevertheless I still take some work with and want to be even better the next time out in a race car. I hope it will be soon. We are working hard for this behind the scenes.
But unfortunatelly then the drama kind of started. While being so close to a potential Pole, technical issues put us on P43. But we fight back. I wrote: “everyone should better watch their mirrors” and Frédéric Vervisch put it true with one of the best driving performances I’ve ever seen. My teammates Maxime Soulet and Mathieu Detry continued strong and put us into the lead!!! 😊💪🏼 But luck wasn’t our best friend. Exactly at the moment our opponents needed to pit, while we had already done our stop, Code-60 came out, so they got a free stop and we did fall back. When we started to come back once again a puncture showed that it is still the race who pics up the winner. However after 24h and some big fights we finished 5th out of 57 started cars.
On the one had finished in the Top 5 in one of the biggest endurance races in the world is huge on the other hand with the speed we had over the whole weekend it was clearly too little. All the amazing efforts and support from Audi Sport and Haas RT and us drivers would have deserved a podium. So huge shout out to everyone!
Finally also a big thank zu to all of you guys for supporting me that well. So many kind messages I have received over the last days. Thank you! 🙏🏼 #blessed
